Meet Dax
Dax is a low-maintenance cat who would thrive with a calm, cat-experienced adult or two in a quiet home. He's got a cautious but loving nature and communicates his feelings openly, whether he’s feeling content or needs reassurance. While social and outgoing, he appreciates gentle, gradual introductions to new experiences and touches. Dax’s sensitivity also makes him very receptive to positive reinforcement and rewards, which have been instrumental in his clicker training journey. He’s a fast learner and has an impressive range of skills, from high-fives to 360-degree turns, and is becoming comfortable with more handling as he builds trust through the process.
Dax is a bush-dweller at heart and adores cozy hideaways, so his ideal home would provide a few snug spaces where he can feel secure. We think he would also welcome having another calm, cat-friendly cat as a buddy, as he's shown a genuine interest in becoming friends with his current feline foster sibling.
Dax is a social and affectionate companion who purrs easily and joyfully. He has flourished in a calm, attentive foster home and is looking forward to sharing his unique charm with his forever person, with whom he can continue to blossom. Dax’s sweet nature and gentle spirit will make him a wonderful best friend.

These fees fund spay/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and combo testing (feline leukemia and FIV) for your adopted cat, rescue efforts, shelter, and veterinary care. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two!
The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. To find out more about us, please visit our website: http://thecatconnection.org/
