Damascus is named for the beautiful pattern of folded Damascus steel, black and tan stripes, dots and dashes covering his slender body. Damascus is the boldest of his fur crew, always first to greet new visitors or pounce on a fun toy. He's a real love bug, who enjoys being held and petted, purring before you even touch him and up until he's asleep in your lap or close beside you. Felt balls, feathered or belled wands, and a simple string are a few of Damascus' favorite things! He'll gleefully run through tunnels, over, around and through cardboard boxes, then up and down the tallest cat trees. Damascus is happy to be picked up and held, he shares toys with the other kitties and is an equal opportunity snuggle bug. He's adventurous and inquisitive, proudly jumping the tallest gates with the greatest of ease. Damascus has a natural big brother vibe about him and we would love to see him adopted with one of his siblings, or another one of the equally adorable kittens in his foster family.
