Dahlia came to Almost Home Adoptions with her kitten Aspen when their family moved out of state and couldn’t take the cats with them. She’s a very good mom and is very bonded to Aspen. She’s only a year old and has had to deal with a lot of transitions, so she’ll need a few days to get settled in a new environment and feel safe and comfortable. Once she feels comfortable, she’s very quiet, calm, and well-behaved. She doesn’t scratch furniture, knock things over or demand attention. She’s not very active, so she would be great in an apartment or a small house. She’s not a snuggly lap cat, but she enjoys getting pets, resting quietly next to you, and following you around the house. She’s affectionate in her own way and will give head bumps and little cat kisses. She enjoys playing with teaser toys and laser lights. She would be the perfect pet for someone who’s looking for a cat who enjoys being around people but isn’t constantly demanding attention. She eats wet and dry food and uses the litter box well.
