CRICKET & TY - LOVEABLE BONDED SIAMESE SISTER & BROTHER PAIR Siamese & Ragdoll Mix Spring Green, WI

Cricket and Ty are 7-year-old deeply bonded brother and sister pair that are looking for their furever home where they will be deeply loved and cared for, so they can grow old together and remain in their same loving home into their golden twilight years.

Cricket and Ty came into rescue through no fault of their own, their previous owner suddenly passed away and they were left with no one to care for them. These sweet kitties not only lost their owner that dearly loved them but they lost the only home and loving wonderful lifestyle they had known since they were kittens. Cricket and Ty grew up in a nice home with two cat friendly Labrador doggies, sadly both of the doggies passed away of old age in the summer and fall of 2022, then last fall their owner became ill and within a few months suddenly passed away right before Thanksgiving - leaving Cricket and Ty with just each other, plus now they would be also losing their home as no family member would be able to take care of them or take them in.

Cricket and Ty started their grieving process for a couple months before they left their previous home, they were very sad and hiding kitties in their previous owners home office, their owner was in hospice care at home before they passed. They have been given the additional needed time at their foster home to help them go through their grieving process and to adjust to a new life, they are such good natured kitties and have done very well in their foster home, they are finally ready for their next home and for people to love and cherish them as much as their previous owner did. Cricket and Ty originally came from a breeder here in Wisconsin, they are littermates and both a Seal Point Siamese and Ragdoll mix, their mom cat was a Siamese while dad was a Ragdoll. They have lovely Ocean Blue eyes, the Siamese shorter length fur, both are built more like the Ragdoll with a larger frame and both have the typical white belly mark that many Siamese Ragdoll mixes have. Cricket is spayed, Ty is neutered and both are now up to date on their Vaccines, both have tested negative for FeLV / FIV/ HW and they are also microchipped. Cricket and Ty came into rescue as a non-papered CFA / TICA Purebred Siamese Ragdoll, their adoption fee has been adjusted lower to reflect that of a non-papered purebred cat.

Cricket and Ty were both sadly front paw declawed prior to them coming into rescue but our Vet has examined their paws and they do not seem to be in any pain from being front declawed or have any difficulty in the gait of their walking. They both LOVE to make biscuits with their front paws on soft blankets or in their soft beds. These two kitties just crave affection and love to be petted including belly pets! Ty is the more vocal of the two and can virtually have a conversation with you if you allow him to. Cricket is a demure and more petite girl…she can be rather shy when she looks up at you, however she is a bit braver of the two of them and will investigate new things or new rooms while Ty sits back and watches to see what is up before he follows her lead. Ty is a very large loveable boy that weighs 22 pounds, he is taller and larger than most small doggies – he is one big kitty that will take up most of your lap or the couch cushion next to you! Cricket is smaller in size than her brother and weighs 13 pounds. They are both considered big kitties and our Vet would like to see them lose some weight which we have started working on doing with them, their new home would also need to help them to stay on their gradual weight loss journey with feeding times and specific amounts of food to be fed, they would have plenty of exercise having a larger home to roam around again in, cat trees to jump up on in the windows for outside bird and squirrel watching and some play and cuddle time with their humans. We discovered that they LOVE catnip and have fun playing with Catnip toys too.

Cricket and Ty are now ready for adoption and they could go to their new home as early as mid January if the perfect home for them comes along and their new owners are ready to welcome these two very sweet kitties into their lives.

Cricket & Ty’s foster mom says this about them:

“Cricket and Ty both have very sweet endearing personalities, they just adore affection to be pet and loved upon, they both happily make biscuits with front their mittens which is just adorable to watch. Cricket and Ty love to keep me company no matter what room I am in, they will both keep me company while I work on my laptop from home, they also enjoy laying on my bed and on the cat trees in the window while sunning themselves in the sunrays and watching all the wildlife outside. Cricket and Ty will play on occasion when they feel like it with their catnip toys but mostly they just like to be a couch potato and to keep their human caregivers company. They do both enjoy belly rubs and once they know and trust you will gladly roll over for you to pet their belly while they fall asleep next to you. Whoever adopts them will be totally smitten by their wonderful loving sweet personalities and those huge Ocean Blue eyes will just melt your heart. They are incredibly very good-natured cats and have the most desired personality traits of both the Siamese and Ragdoll breed all rolled into one kitty – smart, gentle, good natured and very loveable.”

Cricket and Ty would be excellent companion cats for a single person or a couple, a semi-retired couple or someone that is also working from home, being slightly older kitties now they would do best in a home that has no rowdy dogs or young children living there full time, children of middle school age and older would be fine for them especially if they were respectful and cat friendly and would spend time with them petting them, brushing them, playing with them and they would love to keep them company while they watched TV or while they read. In their previous home they would keep their owner company while they worked in their home office and would either lay on the loveseat or the guest chair, so they both do have a comfort level growing up with a home office environment.

DOWRY INCLUDED:

Cricket and Ty will come with their own dowry of goodies, their brand new open style cat litter box, TWO Ceramic whisker friendly food dishes (dishwasher safe) that sit in a raised wrought iron holder that they are used to eating their dry food from, their wet food “special China dishes”, catnip toys they have liked to play with, their brush that they both like to be brushed with, their two kitty beds from their previous home and one cat carrier is being provided from the rescue. Whatever remains in their bag of dry food and appx. 6 cans of their favorite type of wet food. All their Veterinary paperwork and microchip information is provided in a folder as well. Their new owner will not need to purchase anything immediately for them except maybe a water fountain, a second cat box and second cat carrier and a lower window height cat tree so they can lay in a sunny window spot.

The one most important thing they need most from their new owner or owners – is to be loved – to feel they have their own home again and to know you love them.
