Okay, all joking aside, though, that number is how many days (as of February 1st) that these kitties have been homeless and waiting for someone to rescue them. YES, they are stressed, and it shows. YES, they are shy, and YES, hiding seems like a good plan to them. What they desperately need is for a cat whisperer to decide to love them anyway, no matter what, and to take the time that they need to feel comfortable in the world. We have seen SO many terrified kitties turn into real lovebugs, once they are given a fair chance and a home. Cheese and Crackers are currently in a foster home to try and help them open up a bit, but they would really love a real home of their own where they can decompress and begin to thrive!
