Hi there, I'm Cookie! I am male, tabby with more white on my mouth then my sibling, I was Born on June 19, 2024, I'm still a kitten, but I've got a heart full of love and bravery. I'm a bundle of energy, always curious and ready to explore new corners of the world. My sister Daffine and I love to play, chase each other around, and then cuddle up for a nap. I'm sweet, friendly, and I love to meet new people. I'm also potty trained, so no worries there! My favorite pastime is curling up in a warm lap and purring away. I'm looking for a forever home where I can share my love, bravery, and playful spirit. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will bring joy and laughter into your life, then I'm your kitten!

An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet/greet can be set up. http://yvpr.org/catadoptionapplication.html)

If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes.
Meet/greets and adoptions take place at a site chosen by the adoption coordinator. If the cat you wanted to adopt is no longer available, please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through and it may be relisted. Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
The adoption fee covers vaccinations and worming. Flea treatment and veterinary care will be provided if necessary. If you are from out of town you will need a pre-paid spay/neuter receipt from your own veterinarian.
For more information go to http://yvpr.org/adoptions.html

Thank you for thinking adoption and Good Luck!
