Meet Cian
Imagine wandering the scary neighbourhood looking for food and shelter all by your lonesome…that was Cian before he was rescued at 4 months old…a timid shadow living in the shadows.
Cian is a gentle, shy little guy who’s just starting to show his sweet side. He’s becoming comfortable enough to take treats from his foster mom, though he’s still getting used to human touch. Cian gets along beautifully with other foster cats and enjoys playing with feather toys and chasing the laser pointer. He would do best in a home with a friendly, confident cat buddy, or could be adopted with another cat from his foster home who he is already familiar with, to help him feel more at ease. When In a smaller space, his foster mom is able to pet him, and he settles down nicely.
In a patient, understanding home with someone experienced with shy cats, Cian could truly thrive. Wouldn’t it be nice to see a timid kitty blossom into a playful, secure and loved companion? If you’re a cat lover who appreciates the company of a gentle, loving soul, Cian could be the perfect addition to your family.
Would you like to make Cian a part of your world? Please complete our online application found at: avacats.org/adopt/adoption-form.
Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.
Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it’s twice the fun for you, and half the work!
