Meet Chocolate and Sundae, a bonded pair of kitten siblings that came to us all the way from Kauai, Hawaii, from another rescue, KAWS. They are approximately 8+ months old.

Chocolate is a shorthair black cat with bright yellow eyes. He is a bit shy initially but loves to play and gets many pets. Slightly bolder than his sibling, he will warm up to you and strangers much quicker than his sister. He loves chasing string toys and will run in circles endlessly. Playful and loving, he will stick by your side and request love whenever you are available. Super sweet cat, he also enjoys his alone time and prefers to be petted and not held. However, he will be held in small doses.

Sundae is also a shorthair cat with yellow eyes, but her coat is both black and white. Shier than her brother, she will take a little longer to warm up to you, but once she does, she cannot get enough attention from you. She loves affection, and if you work from home, this cat is for you. She likes to curl up between my arms while typing and fall asleep. Although she needs more patience and coaxing in the beginning than her brother to come out and play, you will fall in love with this sweet cat who cannot cuddle with you enough.

Together, this darling sibling pair cannot get enough love. They enjoy playing with toys and staring out the window to watch the various passersby. They love each other and prefer to sleep curled up together if your lap does not already occupy Sundae. They would make a great addition to any home, especially those who are patient with them initially, allowing them to warm up to you. They do well with strangers who are also patient, although they are a bit timid. They excel in calmer and quieter environments. Both have received multiple vaccines; these friendly but shy kittens are ready to find their forever home.

What Chocolate and Sundae are looking for in a home:

- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- They’re new to indoor life with humans, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them continue adjusting. Loud noises, fast movements, and strangers can make them nervous.
- They can get nervous, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them feel comfortable with new experiences.
- They’ll need extra time and TLC to build trust.
- They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active playtime.
- They feel at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They have a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to their age.
- They have no known history with dogs.
- They get along with children.
- They need children to respect their space.
- They would prefer an adult-only home or a home with older children.

All Alley Cat Projects cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
