Meet Chocolate! We know this is a longshot but there might be someone out there that will love him and take care of him. Chocolate was rescued from a market in Cairo, Egypt living in a rusty old cage with other cats and wire bottom. We had seen a picture of him and knew we must save him for a better life. He came over to the United States in February in hopes for a better life he was in bad shape when he arrived but since he's been here yes he has had a better life with medical care. But, he really needs a home and someone who will love him and care for him until his final days. Chocolate has polycystic kidney disease, he does suffer on and off from anemia so he'll need B12 shots occasionally . He's eating prescription kidney food royal canin f and will have to remain on a kidney diet to prolong his life. He may need fluids time to time. So anyone with that knowledge would be perfect for him and it's actually easy to do and has a good relationship with your vet for his needs. If you have other cats no problem he's on a feeding schedule and is cage trained. So if somebody has a small dog cage they can set that up wherever they want him to eat at He's good at eating his breakfast and dinner you can also leave your cat's food out as well He doesn't really eat the regular cat food though so he waits for his food He's really good about it will go in and out of cage no problem. He is pretty chill laid back and a total lover. He absolutely loves to hug and be held he's fantastic. Anyone would fall in love with him. We would really love to get him a home where he Can live out his years like the vet said He's not going to have a full life but he still deserves love. If anybody out there can please open up your home and heart to him that would be perfect to show him life is better here.
