Meet Cheez It
Cheez-It is back at the shelter after 4 years in a home, and she is breaking our hearts.
Cheez-It was adopted out back in 2019 as a kitten. Recently, her adopters contacted us to take her back because she wasn't doing well in their home. The other animals in the home had started beating her up to the point where she would just hide. She would only come out for the occasional meal but would be chased by the dogs back into hiding.
Upon arriving back at the shelter, we noticed that she was completely matted. Despite all that she has been through, she has been such a sweetheart. She has been shaved since being here, and once her hair starts to grow back she will be a gorgeous, long-haired beauty.
She is about 4 years old and is the sweetest girl. All she wants is a warm lap to curl up on. She enjoys head scratches and all the attention.
She would do best in a quiet home. She doesn't seem to mind other cats, and would do well with calm dogs that respect her space.
Her adoption fee is $65. She will come current on her age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and spayed.
