Meet Charlie
Hi there! My name is Charlie and I'm a super sweet guy who just wants to be your one-and-only cat. I'll follow you around and we can have a nice long conversation about how your day went! Come meet me and see what an amazing guy I am!
I recently spent some time at a home, but I had to come back to the shelter because I didn't get along with the other cats. That's not how it works for me—I need to be your only best friend (and maybe even your only pet). I'm a real sweetheart, and my favorite thing in the world is cuddling with my humans. If you're looking for a mellow boy who will give you all his love, then I'm your guy!
Here are some words from the nice woman who opened her home to me for a couple of months:
"Charlie is an old gentleman lap cat who is easy to please. He is a lovable old guy who enjoys people's company and loves to sit on a lap or keyboard. He is generally quiet but has an endearing gravelly meow and deep rumbling purr. He enjoys cuddles but not too much petting. He is hard of hearing and would be perfect for a calm household to live out his days in comfort."
He eats well (pate food is his favorite), loves a heat pad and we recommend non-clumping litter to help his paws.
