(Our cats are combo tested/microchipped/spayed/neutered/fvrcp and rabies/fecal and worming
When a young woman reached out to help a cat who was living in a shallow box (not moving or eating) in the frigid weather, she was very honest with us. She had her own life challenges that prohibited her from doing much. But she was determined to help save the cat who seemed to be slipping away before her eyes. The poor kitty was suffering from hypothermia, dehydration, and malnourishment.
Shamrock got the call and sprang into action to save this sweet girl. One of our volunteers dropped everything to get her and transport her. She was named Celine and was taken to Hopewell Animal Hospital where she was brought back from the brink of death.
After a stay in the hospital she was brought to her temporary foster. After a couple of weeks she went to her main foster. She's been through so much but has been a real trooper through all of the changes. She's the sweetest lap cat, but can be extremely feisty while she's adjusting to a new environment. She's very affectionate, and she's quite talkative when she wants something. She seems to have a distaste for other kitties, so needs to be an only cat, but she's the only cat you'll need. She'd likely do best with an experienced cat owner. She's definitely best friend material. If you have any questions about weet Celine contact Kay at 502-424-8383 (text preferred)
