I’ll be at a one day adoption event at PetSmart in Lacey, WA on May 11th. Come by and meet me between 11:00 - 3:00. If you would like to be my forever home, you can apply now and pick me up there :)
DOB - July 12, 2023
Caramel is a female cutie who, although she and her siblings were abandoned in a church parking lot, still knows she's a lucky kitty! Fortunately, people from the church gathered the kitties up quickly and got them to an animal rescue. They were a bit scared at first in their foster home, but soon responded very positively to being loved, fed and kept warm.
Caramel is a curious girl who keeps you aware of what she's doing by chattering at you. (She wouldn't want you to worry about finding her!) She loves to check out each area of the house and she especially loves Temptations cat treats in the morning. Please consider giving this sweet girl a forever home!!
An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet/greet can be set up. http://yvpr.org/catadoptionapplication.html)
If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes.
Meet/greets and adoptions take place at a site chosen by the adoption coordinator. If the cat you wanted to adopt is no longer available, please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through and it may be relisted. Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
The adoption fee covers vaccinations and worming. Flea treatment and veterinary care will be provided if necessary. If you are from out of town you will need a pre-paid spay/neuter receipt from your own veterinarian.
