Calypso wants to be someone's best friend; their feline soul mate. While Calypso has RBF, we promise she is beyond sweet. If you sit on the floor, Calypso will sit in your lap, purring, and stay there forever. She wants to snuggle all day, everyday. Calypso is very easy going, happily adapting to your day to day life - as long as she gets some attention here and there.

Calypso is approximately two years old and we don't know much about her before she came to us. We do know that Calypso gets along with other cats and she adores people, especially those with warm, cuddly laps.

Adopting from Spicy Kitty Animal Rescue is easy. Apply on our website, answer any follow-up questions, then when your application is approved, we set up a meet-and-greet.

Our adoption fee is $150 for a cat/kitten under 9 months old and $125 for a cat over 9 months old. This fee includes spay or neuter, microchipping, testing for FeLV (feline leukemia) and/or FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), current, age-appropriate vaccinations, and deworming.
Adoption fee is refundable for two weeks to make sure you’ve found a match for your household. Even after the two-week period, we’ll take the adopted cat back for any reason.
