Hey, I'm Calliope! I'm an adult tortoiseshell girl kitty with white fur, and that makes me a lot like a calico. Did you know Calliope is a Greek goddess? Obviously the person who gave me that name knew that cats are meant to be worshipped! And that's what I like for people to do--worship me and give me just a bit of space. I'm a lovely girl who is very watchful of what's going on around me. I might not love being picked up right now, but I do like to get pets if you give me some space and the proper respect!

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
