Hi, my name is Brina. I am around 2 years old, and I am a shy girl at first.

I am building my confidence in my foster home, where there are two very socially confident cats and one other timid cat like me. I get along with everyone but am especially comfortable around the other shy kitty. Initially, I would like to be confined to one room with a litter box and my own food and water. Ideally, this would be your bedroom as once I get used to the sights and sounds of your home, I will demand cuddles and pets in bed. I love to be brushed, and butt scratches are the best. I love treats and have gotten very brave about coming to get them from my foster mom. I love sitting in the window watching birds and squirrels but, like a typical cat, I do spend a lot of time sleeping in a small bed (because I’m small) or on a fuzzy blankie or in a sunny spot. I am slow to warm up but when I do, I am a love bug. Just come hang out with me or at times I will jump on the couch with you to watch tv. I always use the litter pan. I’m learning to scratch on appropriate surfaces and not bother cords. I would do best in a home with just adults and one or two other cats more on the shy side and not possessive. I really would like some friends but would also do well as an only cat.
