Meet Boots (bonded w/ Lulu)
Boots (aka Mama) was found along with her 5 newborns in a burnt out row home in the tough streets of Philadelphia. A small injury during the fire didn't stop her from keeping her babies safe and sound until the day they were rescued. She took to indoor life quickly and raised her babies perfectly. All of her kids, except sweet Lulu, have found their forever homes.
Meet Boots, your new best friend! Like the Little Mermaid, she wants to be where the people are. She loves hanging out on the couch and using your hand as her own personal cheek-rubbing device. She is a total foodie who loves dry kibble, wet food, tuna treats, churu packets – you name it! She likes to play with toys but is happy to take a back seat so her daughter, Lulu, can get in on the fun, too. Boots is an empowered woman, and as such, she is comfortable setting boundaries by giving you a gentle love bite when she is finished with pets. She warms up to new people almost immediately and takes her role as resident couch-warmer and biscuit-maker very seriously. Her coat is so silky and shiny. Also, her purrs are to die for!

"Once settled in, Boots will become your new best friend. She will be there to nuzzle you awake as the alarm goes off and be there to put a smile on your face when you get home after a rough day. Boots can sometimes become overstimulated, so she will be happy with a few pets before she lays next to you or heads to her favorite window. Having lived with Boots for a year I can honestly say she is a sweet, tough, caring girl who deserves a forever home filled with love and the occasional tuna treat.
Boots and Lulu are settling nicely into their new foster home. They love playing with wand toys and each other, making biscuits, receiving gentle pets, keeping tabs on the neighbors from the perch of their cat tree, and enjoying a nice seafood dinner. Boots loves meeting new people, while Lulu is more of an introvert. She has recently discovered aquarium videos on YouTube and is a big fan.
These lovely ladies are sweet and very brave as they get used to their new surroundings."
