Meet Bonded Pair: Nicholas and Circus Peanut
My name is Nicholas J. Tomcat -- I'm the handsome black and white tuxedo. I'm approximately 6 1/2 years old, and was found as a starving, injured stray. Despite my rough past, I am a happy, chubby land orca now. In a lot of ways, I act more like a dog than a cat. I'm bursting with affection for every human I meet. I will roll over for belly rubs let you pet me for hours. Every time you come home, I will be just as excited as the first time! Unlike many dogs, however, I am also a gentleman who is content to amuse myself by napping or window-watching, and would never chew up your shoes while you were out.
My orange friend is named Circus Peanut, and he is only 1 year old. He was rescued as a very sick kitten who needed a lot of TLC. After I was rescued, we ended up in the same foster home. Since he was a single kitten, I had to teach him how to be a cat, and he ended up becoming my best friend! Circus Peanut is goofy, playful, affectionate, and has an adorable permanent head tilt (it doesn't cause him any problems, except maybe contributing to his clumsiness). I'm a bit of a ham myself, so we get along great! He loves to play with my tail like an annoying little brother, and I secretly love it. We are often found napping together, which our foster mom says is so cute it's almost disgusting. ;) Circus Peanut is more shy than I am. I've never met a stranger, but he needs a chance to get to know you. Once he does, he's a champion snuggler who loves affection.
We are neutered, flea treated, dewormed, fully vaccinated, and combo tested negative for FeLV & FIV. Both of us are in great health. My teeth were a mess and I've had all of them extracted. I can still eat crunchy food, don't worry, and BONUS -- this will save you money on future dental costs! We both use the litterbox like good boys (larger box preferred).
This wonderful pair will fit into any household -- kids? Yup! other cats? Yup! Dogs? Yup! They are being hosted by our rescue partner, Operation Press Paws, and you can learn more by emailing operationpresspaws@gmail.com
