Meet Bob
Bob came to Katie’s Place from another shelter which could not keep him after he tested positive for FIV (Feline Immuno Virus). Bob is 6 years old.
Bob is an awesome character. When he arrived at KP he literally walked out of his carrier, looked around and instantly made himself at home!
He was full of rubs and bumps and purrs, showing his approval of his new digs. He enjoys interaction with humans accepting pets and will sit next to you.
He can be a little bossy sometimes with some of the other cats but is so good with an older frail fellow residing in his room. He wouldn’t necessarily miss other cats if a home became available that was only allowed one pet.
***Cats can live many years with FIV especially being kept indoors in a loving environment and with a healthy diet. At KP we have a foster program for these cats, whereby you provide the home and KP will take care of any medical care should the cat need to see the veterinarian. If this seems like something that might fit for you, then do come and see us!
