Hi there, I'm Bluey! I am a male, Maincoon mix, weigh 1.15 lb. You know, I wasn't always a YVPR kitten. Once upon a time, I was a Superhero! Yes, you heard right. With my siblings Buddy, Bear, Bill, and Bruno, we formed the Furry Five, keeping our home safe from pesky flies and mischievous mice. But one day, our biggest adventure happened. A villain, the Vacuum Monster, invaded our peaceful abode. I led my team into battle, bravely distracting it while my siblings escaped. Eventually, I too managed to escape, ending up here. I'm brave, sweet, playful, and friendly. I'm a tiny superhero with a big heart, looking for a new adventure. Could that be with you?

If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes.
Meet/greets and adoptions take place at a site chosen by the adoption coordinator. If the cat you wanted to adopt is no longer available, please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through and it may be relisted. Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
The adoption fee covers vaccinations and worming. Flea treatment and veterinary care will be provided if necessary. If you are from out of town you will need a pre-paid spay/neuter receipt from your own veterinarian.
