You may wonder how a cat can come to our rescue in rough shape and yet be immediately considered perfect. This is how…meet Blasé. He is an amazing example of why we rescue. He is an wonderful cat that just needed some compassion and help.

Blasé is a 13-year-old male that sadly found himself in the precarious position of being a senior cat in a local animal control. NAWS recognized his potential and brought him into our rescue program. We have a soft spot for these type of seniors - they steal our hearts every time. They do not deserve to be homeless at this point in their lives. We want Blasé to be spoiled rotten, with a full belly, cuddling on soft blankets in a window seat, in a home where he feels loved and wanted.

Blasé needs a dental cleaning and has a fractured tooth. He needs an adopter that will help him with some dental care. He had an ear infection when he arrived - they were likely frequent based on the mangled shape of his one ear (yes, he looks a bit different, but we think he is cute). He is FIV positive. He would need to be the only cat in a home, live with other FIV kitties, or possibly live with other non-aggressive cats. He has done great with other cats in his playgroup and honestly, is just more interested in being held by people.

Blasé wants to be cuddled and will immediately crawl into our laps and settle in. He is incredibly gentle, sweet and friendly. He just desires love and affection greatly.

Our busy rescue setting is not ideal for a senior kitty - please help us quickly find a home for this sweet boy. We adore him and we know you will too.
