It is an absolute delight to cradle Blanca in your arms like a baby. In this position, she enjoys her face, chin, and neck gently scratched. She does not fully appreciate being pet, but cradle her in your arms and she willingly submits to your affection.

Blanca is an all white, long-haired beauty with ice-blue eyes. She enjoys taking naps on her hammock and loves staring out the window. Blanca shows off her young and fun side when she plays with her toys. She has done well living with other cats and kittens. Blanca would just need a slow and proper introduction when meeting new animals.

Blanca may be deaf but that does not hinder her in any way. She is full of life and energy and is quite funny once you get to know her. Her deafness mainly means using different ways to communicate with her. For example, flickering the lights or blowing air in her direction can let her know you are there without startling her. We'd recommend a home with no young children who might startle or frighten her. It is important to ensure that Blanca is kept indoors at all times. The outside world is no place for a deaf cat.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: A $75 training deposit is applicable to any and all dogs who are expected to be or are currently larger than 25 pounds. This deposit is in addition to standard adoption fees. The training deposit of $75 will be refunded if the adopter and the adopted animal successfully complete a basic obedience class within 6 months of adoption AND provide a copy of the certificate to Valley Animal Haven.
