Meet Bette Davis & Margot (they need an angel!)

BETTE DAVIS (born approximately 11.17.23) is a teen mom, most likely having gotten pregnant during her first heat cycle. She had her babies in the woods by our property and we trapped them after they were spotted by our neighbor.
3 kittens were born approximately 05.17.2024, INGRID, MARGOT, and PARKER. INGRID & PARKER were adopted together.

Mama BETTE & MARGOT are every bit a bonded pair. Because they are a bit shy with people, we are looking for a home for them together.

BETTE & MARGOT are great with other cats and dogs. They live in a home with a large cat-friendly dog and 2 other adult cats. They simply require a quiet, patient home with humans who will allow them whatever time they need to find their way and build their self confidence in a new home.

If you watch their video, the person petting them is Ari, a teenaged girl, who, along with her sister Maddie and mom Rachel, make up one of our best foster homes for shy cats. They have done an amazing job socializing BETTE & MARGOT (and so many who came before them). Ari took all of the video clips for us, and you can clearly see that BETTE & MARGOT feel happy and safe in their home.
They are merely shy with people until they know them and feel comfortable, but just like with their current foster family they will settle in and feel safe with their new family as well. Especially since they will have each other to lean on.

BETTE & MARGOT are not shy with the other animals and will do fine in a home with other cat-friendly cats or dogs.

BETTE & MARGOT are negative for feline aids (FIV) and leukemia (FeLV), vaccinated for rabies and distemper, dewormed, and spayed.

To adopt please submit an online application to adopt a cat at passion4paws.org/adopt. They are being fostered in Bridgewater, CT but showings will most likely take place in New Millford.
