Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): spayed, vaccinated, & microchipped. No health issues. Vet records are at Banfield Animal Hospital in Palm Coast.
Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): She was dearly loved by my mother from a tiny kitten. I took her in when my mother passed on 9/11/24, and my family is experiencing significant allergies that is preventing us from being able to keep her. We are very invested in finding her a loving home!

Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): sassy but sweet enough! She’s particular about who she likes and can be slow to warm up, hiding under the bed until she feels comfortable. She’s highly motivated by food though! If you feed her, you’ll be her best friend. She had a strong bond with my mom who had her since a kitten until my mom passed. I haven’t seen her have such an affectionate bond with anyone else. But she’ll warm up after a while and come out for petting. She won’t let you forget to feed her, haha! She’ll meow to remind you! Otherwise she’s pretty quiet and withdrawn.

Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): We have everything to go with her- bowls, food, litter box, toys, cat bed, scratch post, cat nip, cat condo, etc.
What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): dry & wet
:::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too!  Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this).

*Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat or kitten home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a very small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you.
