I've never met a cat where physical touch is their love language quite like Beatrice. This little girl is truly unlike any cat we've ever known.

She is so crazy about affection. This girl just loves love. It's not enough for her to get scratches (though she will give head butts and elevator butt until the cows come home), this girl would live inside you if she could.

She'll lay in your lap for hours and cuddle you. She's so happy to see you when you come home and even wags her tail like a dog. Beatrice is looking for her best friend who doesn't mind giving her all the attention she deserves.

Beatrice should be the only pet in the home - she doesn't seem to like other kitties, though she is tolerating our small dog for now... It's possible she could handle a respectful small dog.

Currently in foster care in Los Angeles. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation.

All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption.

Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.

We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.

We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline overpopulation crisis.

When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.

If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.
If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.
