Meet Bastet
Bastet is a beautiful, full figured girl with a heartbreaking story. She came to us from a municipal shelter in crisis. She was caged for nearly two years and gained a lot of weight. It was thought she didn't get along with other cats so she was not let out of her kennel often and, therefore, did not get a lot of exercise. We took her in, gave her the medical attention she needed and now she is on the road to a healthier life. Bastet is in a wonderful foster home where she is given diet food and room to run and play. As a result of this, Bastet has lost some much needed weight! We also discovered that she can co-exist with other cats with no trouble. Bastet will need an adopter who will help her on her weight loss journey.
Bastet is a very sweet and independent girl. She loves attention and pets. She likes to play with toys, and run around her foster home with other cats. Bastet will need an adopter who will engage in play with her and provide a variety of toys to help this sweet girl get some exercise.
Bastet has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She has an approximate birthdate of July, 2018. Her adoption fee is $95.
