Allow me to introduce you to Barney, the striped prince! This handsome man is a nonstop purr factory that is super full of love and cuddles. He started life on the streets and asked to be rescued by “showing up” in the early mornings and learning about how indoor cats lived. Barney would hang out in the driveway, having conversations about his current life while assessing the potential of “the good life!” One day, Barney figured out that living inside would be better than what he had going on, so he strolled into what became his foster home. Barney is a kitten at heart and is figuring out that toys (especially catnip kickers) are pretty awesome. Laps are fabulous for napping and for getting/giving love, which he is full of! Barney is very interested in whatever his foster parents are doing, so much so that he becomes a curious shadow, usually walking in stride and rubbing against legs as you move about. Barney LOVES head scratches and will stand up to ask for them with his sweet cooing sounds and outstretched paws. Barney likes to climb his cat tree where he grabs toys to toss around and chase, or where he can perch to watch over his kingdom. This affectionate ball of cuteness is believed to be roughly 1-2 years old. Barney is litter trained and neutered. Barney is interested in the resident dogs but may be happier in his own palace.
