This litter came in on "Talk like a Pirate Day". They were living on the streets in Laurens and a family took them in until they were old enough to be away from their mother - who will be getting spayed ASAP before she has more. The finders are keeping the mama, but 7 kittens was too much to handle. Barbossa and Hook are the only 2 left at the Shelter from their litter!

. All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, dewormed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines & started on Flea Preventatives. Cats are tested for FIV/FELK. Dogs over 6 months are tested for heartworms.

Open hours are 12PM - 4PM Tuesday -Friday and 12PM-3PM on Saturdays or by appointment.

We suggest calling prior to visiting our adoption center to ensure the animal you wish to meet is here at our Center (some are in foster care) and still available. If you want to meet an animal that is being fostered an approved application & appointment is required.

We will call or email you the status of your application once it is processed. Nothing will be processed on Sundays or Mondays.

All our pets are posted online and we continue to take applications until they are actually adopted. Sometimes things change and an adoption may fall through so we maintain a wait list.
