Quite possibly one of the most brave cats in our care, Bagheera is ready to find a family! This love bug came into our care as a tiny tot and at the time, could best be described in one word - feral. Bagheera was so fearful of humans that he would cower. Hissing was his specialty and the less he was handled or looked at, the better he felt. Through months of socializing, cuddling and reassurance, though, Bagheera blossomed into an incredible gentle and sweet social butterfly. Bagheera absolutely loved having his photo taken (who wouldn’t if you’re this handsome?!) and was the star of the show. He went from being terrified of people to almost needy….and it’s the most beautiful needy we’ve ever seen. Bagheera has a soft plush coat with the richest black color and a stocky body that you just want to squish. Bagheera is used to being around other cats and finds comfort in them, so his new home will ideally have at least one other cat or will adopt him with a buddy. Bagheera will need some patience as he transitions to a new environment, but we are confident that he’ll continue to flourish into the fabulous cat that he is.
