Aspen is affectionate and loves cuddles and kisses. Her favorite game is called "speed bump"—she'll run ahead of you, flop onto her side, and look up for belly rubs. She loves attention and being held, but isn’t needy.

When Aspen was about 3 weeks old, foster mom noticed something odd with her chest and soon discovered that Aspen had FCKS (Flat Chest Kitten Syndrome), a condition that causes the lungs to collapse and the rib cage to flatten, making it difficult for the lungs to fully inflate. With quick intervention, including wearing a corset for over a month, Aspen's ribs are now properly shaped, her lungs are strong, and her heart is doing exactly what it should. She's a happy, healthy girl.
