Asparagus (AKA Gus) Domestic Short Hair Minneapolis, MN

Gus is big, quiet and shy boy looking for his forever home!

He was initially timid when he came to his foster’s home but has opened up a bit over the last 6 weeks. He loves playing with his brothers and sister. He enjoys most toys, as well as grooming his sister or mama; and quietly observing his surroundings from hidden areas. He also loves exploring the different levels and partially enclosed spaces of the cat tree he Shares with his littermates. He eats twice a day with his siblings and loves treats.

Gus lives with his two foster parents, his mama and his 3 brothers and sister in a big room in the basement of a single family home. He behaves well with his brothers and sisters in the litter. It is unknown how he does with dogs.

The ideal home for Gus would be one that includes his mama or one of his brothers or sisters. He has been allowing some head scratches and coming nearer when a hand is extended. He will need a patient guardian who will let him get used to his surroundings on his own terms and time. There is a sweet personality in this boy just waiting to unfold once he finds his furever home and feels comfortable doing so.

Gus will need to go home with his mom (Mama Sweet Pea) or one of his siblings (check out Peapod, Butternut, and Spout) or to a home with an active, young resident cat who can show him the ropes as he grows up

Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
