Meet Arthur & Aggie-Cerebellar Hypoplasia
Arthur & Aggie are a bonded 8 years young pair who were born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. CH is a non progressive neurological disorder that affects balance and coordination. CH doesn't stop these two from having tons of fun and they plan to live long and happy lives together. They must go to a home together and without other cats as Aggie has made it clear that Arthur is the only one for her. We will assist with helping their home set up the environment to help keep them safe and sound. They both use their specialized litter boxes, eat well and are very bonded. They are such incredible snuggle bugs and would love to go to a loving home where they will be cherished. Aggie and Arthur love to climb up on you and lay by your side purring away in kitty bliss.
Aggie is in need of a dental which we will have done once we have enough funds raised to cover that. We would like that done before any potential placement.

Enrichment and friendship building time is implemented every day in their foster home and we aim to end each "session" on a positive note. They are an exceptionally sweet and loving pair that would make a wonderful addition to your loving home.
Mojo’s Hope always wants to ensure that our rescues choose the most wonderful home possible. First, we ask you to please fill out our adoption application. Our adoption fee for cats is $120.
Our adoption policies and procedures are rigorous and thoughtful as our goal is to match you with a cat who will become a loving addition to your home for the rest of his/her wonderful life.
Seeing photos and videos are great first steps, however, meeting the cat in person and seeing if you connect is critically important. You may even want to visit the cat a few times to ensure you have made that connection.
If you are interested in adopting one of our cats, you will need to complete our adoption application and have that approved prior to placement. Submitting an adoption application does not guarantee placement.
We do not do same day adoptions.
Please ensure you have permission to have a cat where you live before considering adoption! We will need to see a copy of your lease agreement along with a contact number for your landlord to ensure the adoption is allowed.
All parties interested must meet the cat before adoption to ensure that everyone is in agreement with the adoption. If you do not live in Anchorage, you must come in to meet him/her before the adoption and make arrangements to transport him/her to your home.
Mojo’s Hope will provide behavioral support for the transition and throughout the adoption to ensure that everyone feels secure with the adoption.
Mojo’s Hope has an indoor cat policy. We strongly support the utilization of cat harnesses and catios as these are positive ways of giving your cat the chance to explore, get some fresh air and provide him/her with the benefits of the natural world while keeping them and wildlife safe and sound.
These steps have been implemented to ensure the placement is the best one possible to meet the needs of the cat and the new home.
Our Adoption Application is available to complete online or download. If you download the application please email the completed one to mojoshope@gmail.com
Here is a list of suggested supplies to get your home ready:
• Food/Water dishes
• Uncovered Litter Box/Litter
• Scratching Posts/Cat Trees
• Feliway (cat pheromone that assists with stress and behaviors)
• Cat Beds/Hidey Spot/Cube/Kennel (foster home will provide at least one piece of bedding or a bed from the foster home to assist with the transition, as having their own smell alleviates stress)
• Cat Trees/Perches
• Music (Through a Cat’s Ear is highly recommended)
• Enrichment Toys
• Cat DVDs
• Collar/harness/ID tag
• Carrier
Mojo’s Hope provides a care package for each of our rescues when they go to their adoptive home. This care package includes food, bedding, toys, enrichment activities, treats, and a transition packet. The transition packet provides the adopter with a look into the daily life of our rescue and helps the cat and the family support each other during this process.
Mojo’s Hope has a very clear and strong position when it comes to cats keeping their claws. We are adamantly opposed to declawing. It is barbaric, cruel, and has proven to cause long-term negative effects on the cat’s body and emotional well-being.
Both our adoption application and agreements have an additional clause that the adoptive family signs, that states very clearly that they agree to reach out to MH if behavior concerns arise and that they are never to declaw the cat.
Do not submit an application if you have any intention of declawing!
