Meet Artemis! (Goddess of the hunt)

Artemis and 5 of her siblings were abandoned in a local neighborhood over the summer. 3 have been successfully adopted! Artemis is still on the search for her forever family.

Artemis and her sister Astraea, about a year old, are waiting for their forever home and need to be together. They are a nice compliment to each other as Artemis has an independence fueled by curiosity and Astraea, while she loves to play too, is a snuggler. Artemis is a sweet girl who loves to play with her ball, chasing it and carrying it around in her mouth and play with her foster mom with her wand toy. While she loves her scratches and pats, she will leave her food bowl to play while her sister will wait to eat to get some cuddling in before dinner. She does have a foster brother dog and while she still hisses at him occasionally if he gets in her space, she mainly ignores him. She will hide initially when new people come into her space but will warm up relatively quickly and join the party. We’re not sure how she will get along with younger children as there are none in her foster home.


Artemis has tested negative for FIV/FELV and has been spayed and microchipped as part of the adoption fee.

All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. If you are interested in meeting Artemis, please go to our website and fill out a cat application.
