***Staff thinks I will be ready by mid July. My foster family says, Aqua loves being with people. She will meow to express that she does not like being confined and wants to be with the family. She will ask for pets, then roll over to show her tummy for tummy scratches in her luxurious long fur while making air biscuits. She enjoys being held and cuddled, though a good romp with a string or a ball is also much appreciated. She is very social and easy going. Aqua has very long fur and sometimes needs some grooming help.*** I am not currently at the shelter because I'm growing big and strong in a foster home! You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when Im ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-473-1741; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed on an animal. Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we arent able to visit while Im in the foster home as its a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. We want to be healthy for our new life together!
