Aphrodite Domestic Short Hair Charlotte, NC

Aphrodite is a female domestic shorthair tabby kitten with white paws and a white "mustache." She was rescued in January 2024 in East Charlotte alongside some of her colony. We estimate her birth month to be May 2023. Aphrodite has received initial vet care from our rescue, and has been spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.

While Aphrodite’s full family history is unknown as a community cat, she was a beloved member of her community and cared for greatly by a local homeowner. The homeowner even went so far to allow her in her home, so Aphrodite was well on her way with socialization as we brought her into our program.

Aphrodite is still a bit shy, so her ideal home will be full of love, patience and lots of TLC. We anticipate her to be a great house cat (especially as she was already exposed to the indoors prior to coming into our program), she just needs some time to acclimate to her changing surroundings.

Aphrodite is in foster care with exposure to other cats, and two of her colony mates, the other Greek Goddesses, Artemis and Athena. We believe Aphrodite would do just fine as a solo pet, but will also acclimate to other cats/dogs in the house with time to adjust.
