Annabel Dilute Tortoiseshell & Domestic Long Hair Mix Nashville, TN

Annabel is a beautiful Dilute Tortoiseshell. She is a silky longhair. She is approximately 4 yrs old and weighs around 11 lbs. She is sweet. She will meow sweetly for her food. She will approach you for petting or just to say Hello! She loves a couple or three scratches between her ears and a couple or three strokes along the top of her body but doesn't need or want much else. She just wants to be around you. Annabel is one of those cats that doesn't require much petting and will let you know with a swish of her tail and a slap of her paw that she's not that kind of girl. But don't misunderstand, she wants to be with you. She doesn’t require a lot of petting. Just being with her person is her way of feeling loved and giving her own love in return.
If you are a busy person who doesn't sit much, this is the perfect cat for you. She loves to interactively play with a feather wand, but she also easily entertains her self. She's not a needy cat and doesn't like needy people.

Annabel is ok with older, calm dogs, but not active younger dogs. She coexists with them but does not snuggle with them.
Annabel must be an only cat. Whereas she will learn to tolerate a calm dog, she will never tolerate another cat. She is a princess after all.

When meeting new people she is shy at first. Giving her a slow approach and introduction is the way to win her over. We are looking for an experienced cat person to be the love of her life.

Annabel will be adopted to an inside only forever home. Application, references, vet check, home visit required. Annabel’s adoption donation of $100 will help the next needy kitty.
