Anikan came to the sanctuary at about two weeks old. He is a cautionary tale. Anakin had been sleeping in an unlit fire pit For warmth and safety Unbeknownst to the people That live there. Unfortunately, one day they decided to light the bonfire, once lit tiny little Anakin crawled out singed by the embers. One of our volunteers immediately took him in, treated his wounds, and bottle fed him around the clock He has done wonderful in her care, but will always bear the scars from the fire
