Meet Angus
Born on March 10th, 2022, just two days after his mom was rescued and taken into a foster home, Angus is a timid little guy who will require a little extra love and patience from his adopter so that he can blossom into a happy cat. **UPDATE** Angus is coming out of his shell more and more every day. The secret to his happiness? Feather wand toys! He love love loves them!!!
Angus was born into a little with three other kittens; one who was very demanding of attention, one who was seriously ill and took up a lot of time from his foster family, and his BFF/sister Zoe.
We think Angus would thrive in a quieter home with a four-legged friend to keep him company. He was fostered in a home with plenty of cats and a dog, so those things don't phase him. Humans, on the other hand, he is more leery of right now. He loves to be up high to watch all the action. With an independent spirit, you can count on Angus to be the type of kitten that doesn't mind you working long days...just so long as you bring out that canned food when you get home.
This kitten has tested negative for FIV and FeLK and is current on its vaccinations. He is neutered and microchipped. Vet records are provided to adopters.
Our adoption fee is $75, to help pay for a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Animals listed as "BONDED PAIR" have a reduced adoption fee of $100 since they need to be adopted together.
If you are interested in adopting from the Humane Society of West Alabama, please fill out the adoption application at humanesocietyofwa.org (all adopters MUST be pre-approved).
