Meet Amber

A few months back we took in a cat from one of our shelter partners who came into the shelter with her eyes so severely infected the shelter had to remove them. When we got her, she went into the care of one of our super cat fosters so she could recover from her surgery in some peace and quiet. One of our gentle little kittens was picked to be her mentor. That relationship has turned out to be the best thing to watch. Lilly came to the Resource Center and is getting used to the new environment. She doesn't move around much yet but she is getting braver. Amber has made cat and people friends and gets to run around quite a bit during the day. When someone new comes into the Center, Amber runs back to their Cat Condo and sits in front of the door until she determines friend or foe for Lilly. This incredible duo is available for adoption. They must go together to someone with special needs experience or willing to learn.
