Meet Allie-Jo (A.J.)

In mid-June, our cat rescue's founder had just finished attending a meeting at the San Augustine Chamber of Commerce when she noticed a 6-week-old kitten frantically meowing on the front steps of the business.. She learned from the staff that it had been hanging out there all by its lonesome for over a week and had been leaving out food and water. Sadly, nobody offered to take the kitten home to take care of. :-( Our founder earned the kitten's trust with treats and brought it home for a much-needed bath, then to the vet for an exam. Apart from typical parasite treatment, the kitten was in good health.

"Allie-Jo" (A.J.) is currently being nurtured by our Founder along with her other rescued house cats. She's now ready to be adopted out to a loving forever home that already has (or will have) a YOUNG cat friend for her to play and snuggle with. She'd love to join your family! (If you don't already have a young cat to be A.J.'s companion, we have several other cats that A.J. plays with that we could also adopt out to you. Please contact us to further discuss!
