Meet Alice (bonded with Charlotte)

Little Miss Alice is a lovely 1+ year old young cat with interesting black and white markings. Alice was discovered living in a Toronto laneway with her mother and sisters, and rescued to give her a better future home.

Alice is a definite character with an outgoing personality, full of curiosity and very playful, but remains cautious at first when meeting anyone new. Her favourite toys are feather wands, small stuffies, and cardboard boxes. She likes using both vertical and horizontal scratchers, enjoys lounging in boxes, and sitting on the window sill or stretching out on the floor.

She loves Catit Creamy treats and wet cat food, and is receptive to the introduction of dry kibbles.

Alice is an affectionate and engaging cat who loves to be noticed and will come to you for attention, weaving figure 8s around your ankles and purring up a storm when you pet her. If you sit still and wait, she will likely crawl into your lap and snuggle in. Although Alice does not mind being held, she has her limits and will move off if she’s not feeling it. She is close to her little sister from another litter, Charlotte (aka Charlie), as they have never been apart.

Alice is the yang to Charlotte’s yin, and the combination of the two distinctly opposite personalities make up a perfect whole. Both girls have not been around dogs or small children, and would do best in a quiet and relatively calm home, possibly with older children, where they can be given time to explore, settle, and bond with the family.

Would you like to make Alice and Charlotte a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: avacats.org/adopt/adoption-form.
