The best way to learn more about our birds is to complete our parrot match application, found under the "Adoption" tab on our website, www.phoenixlanding.org. The nice volunteer who answers PetFinders inquiries cannot tell you about specific individuals.

Snowy is a 15 year old male white capped Pionus. He just joined us at the adoption center and was thrilled to see a wide assortment of veggies, fruits and grains for breakfast after a delightful dinner of Nutri-berries. It's rumored that he will give us a good Yelp review for amenities! Apparently he's a good flyer also, and thought some time in the connected aviary was a great idea. Flying is a skill he should keep for good health, so a safe home for that will be essential.

Our process: after you complete a core class (recommended for anyone!) you will be connected with the adoption coordinator for your area. Attending one of our core parrot care classes is also required in order to adopt a parrot. A list of them may be found at https://www.phoenixlanding.org/events.html. Those classes that count as part of the adoption process are noted with an icon beside their title.
