Ruby the ruby macaw Parrot Macaw Blairstown, NJ

Ruby is a gorgeous Ruby hybrid macaw, 20+ age. She is a large girl with a bit of an attitude. She needs a strong, confident macaw home. She is not as much aggressive as she is strong willed.

So far she has shown a preference for women, but we welcome anyone interested to come meet this drop dead gorgeous girl, never know who she will pick as her people!!

Note - A Ruby hybrid is a cross between a Scarlet and Greenwing - personality traits for Ruby are much more from her Scarlet parent, she did not inherit the sweet, mellow, gentle nature of many GW.


Adoption Process:Fill out our online adoption application which can be found on our website, www.ahelpingwing.org (no phone calls please). A representative from A Helping Wing will be in touch to answer all questions and discuss setting up a first visit. Multiple visits are required before adoption. Although there is no application fee, there is an adoption fee, which covers food, medical care, etc., and allows us to continue our efforts in rescuing, caring for, and finding homes for all of our birds. All birds at AHW have been vetted and have negative tests for any disease before they are made available for adoption!
