Meet Mindy

Hello, my name is Mindy and I was born in 1997. I was in a previous home for about 8-9 years until my guardian passed away in the year 2022. When I first arrived at RIPR my mind was not in the best place, and it was evident by my behavior that I struggled to trust others. I really missed my mom. But fear not! With a little love and patience, I've rediscovered my groove and am ready to shine once again. I love to talk and sometimes hit some high notes. Attention is my favorite; I will sometimes get upset if all eyes are not on me, but don't be fooled... I do have my favorites. I also love to sit around the kitchen experimenting with fruits and veggies. Carrots, pumpkins, and green beans don't stand a chance—I love tearing them apart! And don't get me started on almonds and pistachios. I'm a pro at seeing how many I can fit in my mouth, and I'd happily munch on a whole bowl if given the chance.
