Meet Magnus (Maggie)
Magnus is an approximately 20 year old DNA-sexed male Harlequin Macaw. He is tame and in good feather. He is thoroughly vet checked including bloodwork. Magnus is special needs and will require special attention and care. He came to us with glaucoma in his right eye and required a procedure to reduce the pressure and pain in that eye. He currently has no pain in that eye but it needs to be monitored and may need future procedures. He is a very sweet boy that has been through a lot!
Magnus's adoption fee is $950.00
PLEASE NOTE: Adoption applications for any Macaws will not be considered unless the applicant has previous large bird experience. Because large birds are so intelligent and have specific needs to live a happy life, we require their adopters to have personal experience living with/caring for large birds. If applying, please be prepared to detail personal experience.
