Magic is a 24 year old female Moluccan cockatoo, she's been waiting awhile for our help and for a home that understands her needs. Look at those soulful dark eyes! Moluccans are very special, but they are also super smart, busy, and loud. You have to have that 'cockatoo spirit' to live with a boisterous Moluccan. If you do, you know it's magic like Magic. But be prepared for the costs of lots of enrichment and good food. She has lovely feathers, and the best way to keep those is with many activities to fill her day. And the more vitamin A rich her diet, the pinker the feathers and healthier she will be. Moluccans are also more prone to osteoperosis, so exercise ("places to go and things to do") is mission essential for a good life. Did you know that Moluccans are very vulnerable in the wild?

Our process: after you complete a core class (recommended for anyone!) you will be connected with the adoption coordinator for your area. Attending one of our core parrot care classes is also required in order to adopt a parrot. A list of them may be found at https://www.phoenixlanding.org/events.html. Those classes that count as part of the adoption process are noted with an icon beside their title.
