Meet Lorcan

Fluffy pigeon warrior Lorcan has an extraordinary "will to live" and matchless stamina. An unknown accident left little Lorcan in a life threatening situation. Grounded with a broken wing and no ability to fly from any dangers, Lorcan managed to somehow stay alive for several painful and distressing weeks. Rescue finally reached him, but the GLPR immediate care team discovered his tiny wing had healed back incorrectly. Lorcan’s wing hangs low, and needs a trim of feathers occasionally to prevent him from tripping. He says he will be mindful as you learn to style his feathers! Now adjusting to his non flighted life, Lorcan is experiencing a bit of Pigeon Trauma and feels a little worried and shy. A gentle, quiet, and patient foster or forever home will help this guy gain his confidence right back.
