Kelly is a 15 year old Severe Macaw.

This bird came to us with no name and is a retired breeder that has never been handled. Her mate died 7 years ago and since, she has retired and has stopped plucking and has beautiful full feathers.

Kelly is learning slowly that people are friends and we bring delicious treats that she will take from your hand with a minute or two of patience.

Kelly is looking for a loving, patient home that will show her she can love and be loved by a person and enjoy life.

She will play out on her cage and go back in by stepping up on a stick. Her favorite thing is to tear up toys on the top of her cage.
