Echo is a a resilient one-footed pigeon soaring through life looking for his forever home. Like the Marvel superhero of the same name, this Echo has proven he can overcome adversity while maintaining an upbeat spirit. Echo was rescued literally within seconds of losing his life. He was bleeding so profusely from his partially severed left foot that he had to be rushed to immediate amputation surgery to stop the bleeding and save his life. Echo now inspires every single one of our volunteers as he bounces and flutters around his foster home, even with just the one foot to stand on. Echo is understandably still regaining his confidence after the trauma he went through, and looks longingly for a gentle, patient forever home to nurture and reassure him. Echo may come from humble beginnings, but he’s eager to become a feathered family member full of loyalty and superpowered companionship.
