Meet Ducky

“If he walks like a duck…” Oh wait, this is Ducky the pigeon! Ducky is the cutest little fancy red pigeon with an adorably duck-like waddle. To be clear, he’s a pigeon. We are pretty sure he’s a pigeon. But that waddle… Either way, there’s no denying his cuteness and confidence that he is his perfect unique self! Ducky came into the care of GLPR volunteers very young, and we are so thankful he’s grown up knowing only love and security. You can just tell he knows life is grand. Ducky loves to strut, coo, dance, play with his stuffed toys, and hop up and down the stairs (hop, not fly, mind you - while he can fly, Ducky also seizes plenty of opportunities to show off his fancy feathered stockings as he strolls around the house!). An excellent conversationalist, Ducky is also known for perching atop a bedroom or office door and cooing encouragingly while you tell him all about your day - with a few complements about his magnificent auburn feathers, of course. Ducky is enthusiastically ready to bring love and laughter to his very own adoptive home!
